Windows Dictation

To Enable Windows dictation, begin by closing all Microsoft Office programs that may currently be open (Word, Excel, etc.).
When all Microsoft Office programs have been closed, press the Windows key + H on the keyboard; you’ll see this notification appear at the top of the screen:

 

Click on the link in the notification, and the Speech settings window will open. Click the slider to turn speech recognition on.  When speech recognition has been turned on, close the Speech settings window.
