Out-Of-District Enrollment

Information

As part of our ongoing commitment to providing exceptional educational opportunities for all students, the Yakima School District has open enrollment to out-of-district families as available. Please familiarize yourself with pages 10-14 (section 4.2) of district operational procedure 3131 (espanol 3131S).

Why is this important?

  1. Expanded Opportunities: Opening enrollment means more families have access to our outstanding educational programs, enriching the lives of even more students.

  2. Community Growth: By welcoming students from neighboring districts, we foster a diverse and vibrant learning environment that benefits everyone.

  3. Financial Stability: Increased enrollment helps ensure the long-term sustainability of our schools, supporting vital programs and resources for all students.
