Before and After School Child Care

We are thrilled to announce that Right At School, a nationally recognized provider of before and after school enrichment programs, will be available at some of our elementary schools for the 2025-2026 school year. This program will offer kindergarten through 5th-grade students engaging activities before school starting at 6:30 a.m. and after school until 6:00 p.m. every day school is in session.

Program Highlights:

• Operating Hours: Before school starting at 6:30 a.m., after school until 6:00 p.m.
• Availability: For the upcoming year, the program will be available at Nob Hill, Gilbert, and McClure Elementary Schools. The following elementary schools look forward to offering the program if more students enroll: Martin Luther King Jr., Robertson, Roosevelt, Hoover, Whitney, Ridgeview, Garfield, McKinley, and Adams.
• Discounts: All Yakima School District families qualify for a 20% Free & Reduced Lunch Discount. To receive the discount, please provide this letter. See prices for Yakima School District schools here. When asked in the registration process, the discount code is YakimaFRD.
• Activities: Healthy snacks, dynamic fitness activities, hands-on projects, team building, leadership development, homework assistance, and a thematic curriculum aligned with academic and social-emotional learning standards.

• Registration is open!
• Click to visit the Right At School Registration website and select Washington (state), Yakima (district), and your child’s school from the drop-down menu. When asked in the registration process, the discount code is YakimaFRD.
• Complete the enrollment requirements and confirm your registration via email.
