Eisenhower High School’s annual pageant crowned Mr. Ike 2025 while raising over $15,000 for pediatric programs and services.
The annual Mr. Ike pageant at Eisenhower High School was a night to remember, filled with funny dance routines, skits, and heartfelt speeches to their heroes from contestants. This year’s event, held on February 6, raised an astounding $15,000.89 for pediatric programs and services at MultiCare Health Yakima Valley and Yakima Children’s Village! The pageant is held in collaboration with YouthWorks Foundation, which allows local schools to get involved with and give back to their community.
Congratulations to Daniel Garcia, who was crowned Mr. Ike 2025! He and his coordinator, Kayle Chandler, each won a $500 scholarship from Gesa Credit Union. The title of Mr. Congeniality, an honor decided by his peers, was awarded to Mason Volin.
The competition featured ten contestants – four seniors and six juniors – who were selected by the student coordinators. Leading up to the event, contestants and coordinators dedicated five months to fundraising at local restaurants and volunteering at events with children who have special healthcare needs.
A huge thank you to all coordinators, contestants, and supporters - your effort is making miracles happen!
