Math Stars in the Making

Ms. Suhm’s 1st grade class was selected as a national winner for the 1, 2, 3, Count with Me program! They earned over 100 tokens in their first 100 days of school this year.

1, 2, 3, Count with Me is a program from Imagine Learning, a national company that works with teachers, administrators, and parents to create learning solutions and curriculum. Math activities are organized into lessons, and students earn one token after completing each lesson. They also earn tokens for every activity within the lesson where their accuracy was at least 50%. 

Out of millions of students across the country who were eligible, only 20 classrooms were selected. Each winning classroom will receive a gift card to their choice of Amazon, Pizza Hut, Papa John’s, or Domino’s. 

This is the second year in a row that Ms. Suhm’s class has won this award, highlighting her students’ hard work over the school year. Great job to our Nighthawk mathematicians!
