Franklin Families Gather for Annual Turkey Bingo Night

On Thursday, November 21, families from Franklin Elementary came together for the highly anticipated Turkey Bingo event, a cherished evening of fun, connection, and giving back. The event, which has become a cornerstone of parent and student engagement, was a lively celebration filled with excitement and friendly competition.

Participants played bingo for a chance to win food items, including parts of complete holiday meals, like a ham or turkey, a bag of potatoes, canned vegetables, gravy mix, pie, and rolls. Families were limited to one turkey or ham but were encouraged to continue playing for other items to help complete their holiday feast!

In addition to bingo, families had the opportunity to select from donated clothing available at the event, ensuring that everyone could leave with something to support their household.

The spirit of generosity and community warmth was as strong as ever this year. The event's success was made possible thanks to the contributions of volunteers, staff, and community members who donated gently used clothing and funds for meal purchases.
