Eisenhower’s AP Government Students Take On Moot Court

 

Congratulations to Eisenhower's AP U.S. Government & Politics students on their outstanding performance at this year's Moot Court event, held at the William O. Douglas Federal Courthouse.

 

Students spent months preparing for the simulation, researching a real Supreme Court case and learning the constitutional arguments at its core. On the day of the event, student attorneys presented their arguments, and student justices posed thoughtful constitutional questions, all within an actual federal courtroom. Students also had the opportunity to hear directly from a federal judge, who answered their questions about what it is like to be a federal judge.

Each student demonstrated remarkable courage and professionalism throughout the experience. A representative from the courthouse noted what excellent ambassadors each of them were. Well done, Cadets!
