Lidia Valle, a dedicated Behavioral Paraeducator at Adams Elementary School, has been selected as a Top 3 Finalist for the ESD 105 Regional Classified Employee of the Year.
 
Lidia's nomination recognizes her outstanding contributions to the educational community. Her selection places her among the region's most distinguished educational professionals. The specialized work of Behavioral Educators requires deep empathy, cultural understanding, and the ability to see potential in every student, qualities that Valle exemplifies daily in her commitment to helping children overcome challenges and develop the resilience needed for academic and personal success.

The annual ESD 105 recognition program celebrates excellence across multiple categories, honoring individuals who demonstrate exceptional dedication as Regional Teacher of the Year, Regional Classified Employee of the Year, and Principal of the Year. Valle is one of two Yakima School District educators nominated for the Regional Classified Employee of the Year category, highlighting the district's commitment to educational excellence.

"Being named a finalist for the ESD 105 Regional Classified Employee of the Year is such an honor,” Lidia said. “As a former Adams Elementary student myself, coming back to support our kids and families has been incredibly meaningful. I see myself in our students, their hopes, their challenges, and I recognize many of the same struggles in their families that my own faced. That connection motivates me every day to show up with empathy, understanding, and a deep commitment to helping them succeed."
