About Discovery Lab School
We are a small public school in the Yakima School District with approximately 222 first- through eighth-grade students. Our teachers strive to create classroom environments that challenge students in ways appropriate to their learning abilities and styles. We encourage multi-age and multi-generational connections throughout the school and within our community. Parents are always welcomed and encouraged to be involved in their child's education.
Discovery Lab School is a collaborative effort between educators, students, their families and our community to provide a supportive environment with high academic expectations for every student while promoting respect for others, open communication, individual responsibility, and a love for learning.
