Greetings and Welcome to Franklin Middle School!

As a public middle school in the Yakima School District, Franklin takes great pride in representing the wonderful, diverse community in which it resides. The staff of Franklin firmly believe that every student can, and will, learn at the highest levels-regardless of background, home situations, or family resources. All students are challenged to do their very best every day.

Three strategic goals drive the work at Franklin:

• Ensure engagement and academic success for every student
• Provide a safe and innovative learning environment
• Prepare students for the future 

All parents are encouraged to become active members in their child’s education as education is the key to future successes. Send them to school every day-well rested and well prepared. Talk to them about their school day and what they learned. If you have time, become a volunteer. There is always a need for an extra mind and/or set of hands.
