• A Typical Preschool Day

    Play is the work of children!

     

    Work Time

    Children choose to engage in developmentally appropriate activity centers including art, blocks, science, dramatic play, sensory table, writing, reading and math.

     

    Nutrition

    Meals are provided in each program and vary depending on the length of the program. Meal times provide a nutrition break as well as a time to develop social and communication skills.

     

    Circle activities

    Group time provides teacher directed early learning lessons, songs, stories, games and daily routines.

     

    Large motor time

    Children engage in structured games and activities as well as free play both inside and outside of the classroom.

     

    Small group time

    Small group activities give children experiences with small motor skills, cooperative projects, math, language and literacy skills.
