Executive Director of Technology

Andres Gonzalez has been with Yakima School District since 1991, contributing over three decades of expertise to the district, applying his leadership to drive technology integration and innovation across the district. As the Executive Director of Technology, Andres oversees multiple departments, including Computer Service, Information Services, Network Service, Student Information Services, Instructional Technology- Instructional Support, and Assessment. Before joining YSD, he owned a computer company that provided support services to government agencies, giving him valuable insight into systems efficiency. His leadership is known for fostering collaboration and using data-driven strategies to improve educational technology. A natural connector, Andres is dedicated to advancing student and parent advocacy while ensuring technology enhances the learning experience.
