Paraeducator Information
25-26 FCS/Certificate Training Schedule (Revised 12/31/25)
Training to be completed on Early Release Wednesdays
You will fall into 1 of 3 categories as noted below.
- Paraeducators who have not completed the Fundamental Course Of Study
Utilize the Wednesday early student release time to complete online modules. Required in-person modules took place/were scheduled on August 21/22nd and a make up session will be scheduled later this year for those that couldn't attend.
2. Paraeducators who have completed the Fundamental Course of Study
Elementary and Secondary Staff Cohorts will be scheduled in-person training. Childcare paras should attend Secondary staff training. With prior approval from Human Resources, make-up training shall be completed online.

Training/Employment Requirements
Documentation
Completion of the Fundamental Course of Study:
Upon completion of your 12 Fundamental Course of Study Modules, HR will send you a signed form indicating completion of this requirement and a copy will be placed in your personnel file.
Clock Hours
For the 25-26 School Year, clock hours are managed through the ESD 105's PDEnroller System. In order to receive clock hours from ESD 105 on an official transcript that is accepted by OSPI you will need to pay for the clock hours you are provided. The current rate as of 2025 is $3 per hour.
