Discovery Early Learning (DEL)

Yakima School District opened Discovery Early Learning in the 2022-23 school year.

In response to community input, Yakima School District placed an emphasis on preschool services by consolidating early learning services across the district to one convenient center.  The construction project aligns with a multi-year plan to enhance kindergarten readiness outlined in the YSD Strategic Plan.

DEL allows Yakima School District to offer a wide variety of preschool services based on family income and children's needs.
