YSD Password Management

This page provides information on how you to use Self-Service Reset Password Manager (SSRPM), our self-service system to manage your YSD account password. The system can be used for simple password changes without enrolling (as long as the user knows the old password), and to reset a forgotten password if you enroll. Please note that only students in grades 6-12 and staff have access to use the "enroll" and "forgot my password" features of SSRPM.

Forgotten Password Enrollment Instructions
- Go to password management website: password.ysd7.org
- Select the Enroll option
- Login with district user name and password
- Enter email and/or mobile phone number. Click the corresponding "Send PIN code" link to get your pin* then enter the pin into the corresponding box.
- Work email (yakimaschools.org or ysd7.org) aren't accepted.
- Phone number must include area code.
- Optional for most users. Required for management team and nurses.
- * Most personal email services are blocked on the district network, so you may need to use a device with access to an outside internet source. - Question/answer selection.
- Answers are encrypted and stored locally.
- Can click on eye icon next to answer field to unmask text.

Reset Forgotten Password Tutorial
- Go to password management website: password.ysd7.org
- Select the Forgot my password option
- Enter user name
- Answer questions
- If personal email address or mobile phone was entered during enrollment, choose between receiving a pin code through sms or email.
- Check either sms or email for pin code
- Enter the pin
- Enter a new password and click Reset
- Reset complete is displayed
