The mission of Health and Wellness Education (HWE) is to nurture the growth, development, and educational success of students through culturally responsive physical and mental health care, comprehensive case management, disease prevention, and educational opportunities. With an emphasis on health equity, improved academic outcomes, and key strategic partnerships, HWE supports families with age-appropriate trauma-informed care.

Summer Safety Health Fair: May 28, 2024

We are thrilled to invite you to our Summer Safety Health Fair on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, hosted at YV-TECH, located at 1120 S. 18th St., Yakima, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. This event is a fun opportunity for our community to come together to learn about health and wellness, with a special focus on summer safety.

Highlights of the Health Fair:

Free Bike Helmets for Students: Ensuring our students' safety as they enjoy their summer activities.
Raffle of Over 100 Bikes: Don't miss the chance to win a new bike for more fun and healthy summer adventures.
Free Childhood and COVID Vaccines: Available for your family’s health needs, ensuring everyone stays safe and healthy this summer.
